Grassroots Entrepreneurship Summit returns for second edition 2019 with keen focus on demystifying the place of women social entrepreneurs in accelerating social change.
Women social entrepreneurs have been instrumental in championing for sustainable development not only because they are most affected by the issues but because they can equally process ideas and actively participate in solving issues facing communities.
At this year’s summit key ecosystem players will be looking at the progress made in achieving gender equality and women empowerment in social reformation which is crucial in achieving all the 17 SDGs.
The summit also convene workshops around different areas of innovation, sustainable business processes and technology for development. Young women entrepreneurs will be showcasing their innovation/products at the #GES2019expo. Key note speeches from stakeholders and carefully selected panel sessions on the main theme will culminate the summit.
The event is particularly of importance to young entrepreneurs, women in social innovation and leadership, women in advocacy and sustainability champions.
