SIEVE DIGITAL RESOURCE CENTRE

Empowering the grassroots through digital literacy.

Overview

Following the blueprint of our 2018 DigiLabs program in Helga, we have established a digital resource centre  at the Enduata Eco-Village.

In a world that is moving rapidly toward a digital-first economy, rural communities are often left behind. Our center changes that narrative. By providing high-speed internet, modern hardware, and a collaborative learning environment, we are ensuring that location is no longer a barrier to opportunity. Through strategic partnerships with global leaders like the Raspberry Pi Foundation, we turn curiosity into coding skills and local youth into global digital citizens.

The centre is hosted in a fully off-grid solar powered facility ensuring zero downtime

Inagural Coding Training

On 24th January 2026, the SIEVE ICT Centre officially opened its doors to a new era of digital inclusion in Kajiado. We launched the SIEVE ICT Centre by bringing in 45 students from nearby schools for our first training.

In a strategic partnership with the Raspberry Pi Foundation, we have integrated world-class computing resources directly into the village ecosystem. During this inaugural training, students dove into the Scratch programming language, transitioning from basic computer literacy to active coding and logical problem-solving. By connecting local schools to the SIEVE Digital Resource Centre, we are providing the tools necessary to foster a digital economy at the grassroots level.

For the next step we look towards furnishing and equipping the digital resource room with 20 computers projected to cost USD 10,000 and construction a larger digital facility.
