On 20th of July 2024, the spirit of community and progress came alive in Enduata-Kajiado. In a show of goodwill and visionary support, volunteers gathered to help clear and establish a new road passing through Ole Sirom. As the common saying goes; the journey of a thousand miles stands with a single step. For the EmpServe Family, we not only took a step forward but paved the path in our commitment and vision to create Africa’s most sustainable village. This significant milestone is a not only a testament to the power of collective effort but also a symbolic dawn of the birth of Social Innovation Eco-Village Enduata.
The existing road and numerous shortcuts that trespassed on SIEVE project land had become insufficient for the communities’ growing needs and posed challenges to our sustainability goals. The new road not only offers a safer and more efficient route but also aligns with our master plan to ensure sustainable development.
The day was marked by an incredible display of unity and hard work. Volunteers from all walks of life rolled up their sleeves, clearing the main road and preparing the ground for the new path. Their efforts are a shining example of what we can achieve when we come together with a common purpose. The construction of this new road is not just an infrastructure improvement; it is a symbol of the community’s dedication to a sustainable and prosperous future.
As we document this progress we celebrate this momentous day and look forward to many more milestones on our journey. The new road through Ole Sirom is a critical step towards the grand launch of our masterplan and groundbreaking, bringing us closer to our goal of building a thriving, self-sustaining community.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers who participated and made this possible. Your hard work and community spirit are the foundation upon which we are building a better future for all. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to pave the way towards a sustainable tomorrow.See our ambitious SIEVE project here.
